Grant to support a clinical trial aimed at reducing the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in young adults (under 50 years old) who are at low or borderline 10-year risk (≤ 7.5%) for their first atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) event, but at high lifetime risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD).This funding opportunity aims to leverage innovative approaches and interventions to address the growing burden of cardiovascular disease by targeting young adults at risk, thus promoting long-term heart health and reducing future CVD incidences.
